You’re invited to Dimensions 2013 – our annual sculpture exhibition and sale

Every year NCNS members gather our best work for our annual Dimensions show and sale – the premier sculpture exhibition in Ottawa.

This year, 28 artists will be participating with works in a wide variety of mediums as well as a host of interesting events…

DATES: Thursday September 12th – Sunday September 15th, 2013

LOCATION: Saint Brigid’s Centre for the Arts, 310 St. Patrick Street (at Cumberland near the Market)

Free Admission

EXHIBITION EVENTS:

Thursday (6-9pm): At the opening night/vernissage, there will be an open bar and refreshments plus we will be holding a silent auction to benefit the Boys and girls Club of Ottawa – a great opportunity to bid on some smaller works from our members and support a wonderful charity.

Friday (6-9pm): Come on out and meet all the artists!! Refreshments will be served

Saturday & Sunday (10am-5pm): Various exhibiting sculptors will be demonstrating how they create their works

I make one of a kind, flameworked glass beads, jewellery and sculptures. My handmade designs are heavily influenced by the art and artifacts of ancient cultures, as well as contemporary abstract art. Each of my creations is created by me in the flame of my torch before being sent off to their new owners.
