How long have you been creating? I’m creating and exhibiting my artwork in Canada and abroad including United States, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Australia for over 40 years. Ceramic sculpture reliefs are sculpted in clay, then glazed and fired in the kiln. I assemble them into wall size reliefs.
What inspires you to do what you do? I’m defining my artwork through two and three dimensional forms that meet between the ancient and modern world of art. I try to explore the relationship between the world of imagination, memory, symbolism, beauty and personal history, using the elemental material clay.
Artist’s Statement In my whole artistic life, I’m seeking for a balance of the psychical beauty of shapes. It is a life long search for optimism in the natural beauty around us.It is a celebration of the past, the present, as well as the future.
