How long have you been creating? I started sculpting after visiting several galleries in Sedona in 2007 and talking with local sculptors. This led to trying it out, to “see if I could do it”. I have a background in animation, illustration and graphic design. I enjoy working with my hands “making things” and experimenting with different approaches from armature construction to mold making.
What inspires you to do what you do? It’s an on-going learning process. Always.
Artist Statement I want to tell a story, and engage the viewer in the moment; Mostly I like to sculpt subjects I like and hope people do too. I use polymer, water-based, oil-based and paper clay. My influences vary from classic, fine art, concept/movie/makeup art, Wildlife and other sculptors.
